The Evolution of Bluetooth and Its Impact on Bluetooth Radio Modules
Since its invention by Ericsson in 1994, Bluetooth has transformed the way devices communicate wirelessly. Early versions like 蓝牙 1.0 和 1.1 introduced basic wireless connectivity, while 蓝牙 2.0 + EDR enabled faster data rates and better audio transmission. 跟 蓝牙 3.0 + HS, high-speed data became possible, 和 蓝牙 4.0 marked the arrival of 蓝牙低能 (BLE) for power-sensitive IoT devices.
The milestone came with 蓝牙 5.0, which doubled the speed, extended the range up to 300 仪表, and increased broadcast capacity eightfold. Later versions such as 蓝牙 5.1 和 5.2 added precise location features and enhanced audio support through LE Audio.
Modern Bluetooth radio modules are built on these advancements, supporting both Classic Bluetooth (for audio streaming and voice) and BLE (for low-energy IoT applications). Their evolution ensures broader compatibility, stronger performance, and more diverse use cases across industries.
